Turkey recorded a Current Account deficit of 1.70 percent of the country's Gross Domestic Product in 2021. Current Account to GDP in Turkey averaged -2.39 percent of GDP from 1980 until 2021, reaching an all time high of 1.90 percent of GDP in 2001 and a record low of -8.90 percent of GDP in 2011.
